Every dollar makes a difference.
MDC Goldenrod is a not for profit that relies heavily on the support of the local community. We are blessed with generous individual, business, congregational and community support. Every dollar donated does change lives.
Funds are used to support those who may not receive state funding, may be on the waiting list for funding or who may not receive enough funding to cover the cost of care.
In addition to the cost of care, MDC Goldenrod has significant expense associated with land and property maintenance and upgrades. We strive to keep our properties in excellent condition but many buildings and land improvements are aging and repairs are costly. We also have a fleet of vehicles that require gas and maintenance. As this fleet ages, cost increases as well.
Every dollar or hour of service truly makes a difference. We are dedicated to being good stewards of the funds we receive. We are also dedicated to establishing and maintaining healthy relationships with individuals and organizations whose donations make the work we do possible. Like all healthy relationships we work hard to base our interactions with donors on a foundation of openness, trust and honesty. To that end we have adopted a Donor Bill of Rights to serve as a guide in how MDC Goldenrod connects with supporters and contributors. Below, please find a link to this document:
